The i-Vortex is the perfect option for enthusiastic cyclists who want to prepare themselves at home for big tours or races. Easy to use, everybody can start at once. This cool trainer features a white frame and a handlebar computer with a display that makes all relevant training data visible at a glance. The handlebar computer doesn’t have a memory; you set programs for slope, power or heart rate manually while training. The ANT+ dongle guarantees wireless communication between the i-Vortex and the PC. Like the i-Genius, the i-Vortex works with the Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced, the most elaborate version. The i-Vortex electro brake consists of 8 magnets and a 2 kg flywheel. The maximum resistance is 950 Watt. The system is wireless, there is no cable running anymore between the brake and the handlebar computer. A cadence sensor is no longer needed either, although power is. The i-Vortex includes the Skyliner front wheel support. The manoeuvrable BlackTrack steering frame also fits perfectly and is available optionally.
